AACC Divisional Membership

Multicultural

The need for passionate, culturally competent counselors is more vital than ever. The Multicultural Division (MCD) exists to support Christian counseling professionals who serve diverse populations across cultural, racial, and ethnic backgrounds. This division promotes greater awareness and understanding of how cultural differences impact the counseling process and the broader helping professions.

MCD provides leadership, research, training, and development with a strong focus on spiritual and cultural sensitivity—especially in working with African American, Latino American, Asian American, and Native American communities. Whether you’re currently serving in multicultural settings or seeking to grow in cultural competence, MCD offers a rich community and valuable resources to help you thrive.
