Position Title:  Clinical Director

Discover the difference you can make as our Clinical Director at Shepherd’s Hill Academy! Our team works with teens from ages 12-17 and their families by offering support, mentorship, structure, and encouragement during their time in our program.

As the Clinical Director, your role is to lead our Therapeutic Team in fulfilling our clients’ therapeutic goals, which includes being the case manager for a small number of assigned residents. You will establish effective treatment plans and facilitate individual (and potentially group) sessions. This is a full-time, salaried position with PTO benefits.

Responsibilities include:

• Serve the therapeutic team by helping them grow into therapists who fulfill SHA’s vision.

• Work with the CPO to improve workplace resources.

• Lead the team in developing, evaluating, and fulfilling clients’ therapeutic goals.

• Ensure therapeutic team meets each of SHA’s enrollment standards.

• Maintain an active case load of 5-6 clients, when needed.

• When needed, coordinate with outsourced specialists to provide care for our clients.

• Annually evaluate the Therapeutic Team’s operation standards.

• Manage departmental budget.

• Perform annual team member evaluations.

• Ensure the Therapeutic Team obtains their annual training responsibilities.

• Facilitate and document monthly team meetings.

• Facilitate weekly clinical meetings to remain aware of each client’s primary goals and progress.

• Remain on-call in the case of client emergencies.

• Provide excellent therapeutic service to our clients.

• Ensure frequent progress reports are delivered to the families we serve.


• Masters Degree in counseling or a related field (required)

• Full LPC Counseling License (required)

Job Type:

Full-time Salaried, PTO to include vacation, sick, and personal days, plus multiple paid holidays.
