- Articulate in the counseling field’s body of knowledge, corollary to current level of education, training, experience, and clinical focus
- Holds clinical expertise and experience in addressing issues specifically related to adults, as well as clinical expertise and experience in conducting marital and family therapy
- Espouses conformity to clinical standards, ethics, and protocols as established by the field’s definitions of ethical best practice
- Committed to timely record management in line with LC’s clinical protocols and HIPAA guidelines
- Demonstrates a developed sense of Pastoral Calling, as well as, Pastoral Identity
- Participates in pastoral development through on-going Biblical studies, and readings in theology, pastoral leadership, clinical and pastoral integration, and teaching effectiveness
- Holds humility and unity as key components to ministry service.
- Holds significant church staff experience
- Embraces the core principles, values, and DNA of Crossings ministries’ and Wesleyan roots
- Committed to the highest possible ministry standards and professional ethics in accordance with the goals, Purpose Statement, and Core Values of Crossings Community Church
- Holds evidence and history of a mature spiritual walk, that includes regular spiritual disciplines
- Is committed to an attitude of humility, compassion, and forbearance, pursuing peace and unity
- Publically, and in private, maintains a lifestyle that is above reproach, conducting oneself in a manner worthy of the Gospel of Jesus Christ
- Holds a commitment to, history of, and is currently in regular church attendance and participation
- Holds a clinical graduate degree (MA/MEd Counseling; MMFT; MSW)
- Holds, or eligibility for license as a provider in the State of Oklahoma (LPC, LMFT, LADC, LCSW)
- Eligible for behavioral health malpractice insurance through HPSO
- Holds a graduate degree in Theological Studies (MDiv, MTS, MA/RelEd, DMin, PhD)
- Pastoral training (CPE experience is a plus)
- Holds ordination in good standing, or eligibility for ordination, in a faith body of “like-mind and order”
- Holds several years of both clinical practice and pastoral experience
- Has participated in their own personal therapy
- Possess a current unrestricted driver’s license
