Summary
If you offer coaching programs, you will serve clients who have experienced trauma. While coaching is not therapy, ignoring the prevalence of trauma is not ethical or conducive to helping clients reach their goals. This workshop will include case studies of successful programs that offer individual and group coaching services to populations with high trauma instances. In addition, we will explore biblical strategies that help clients reframe traumatic emotional injuries with focused imagination exercises. Attend this session to engage in a productive discussion on how you can be proactive, trauma-informed, boundaried, and ethical as a coach.

Participants will:
• Identify critical ethical components and evaluate case studies of successful trauma-informed coaching programs
• Analyze how to have a proactive approach to handling trauma triggers within your coaching program
• Discuss tools to help clients identify false beliefs that make them vulnerable to continued trauma and hardship
