Summary
Research indicates limited training is provided to clinicians in assessing and helping those experiencing reproductive loss. Therefore, participants will further increase their knowledge and skills with this population and be ready to implement techniques upon returning to work.
Learning Objectives
Participants will:
• Apply techniques for licensed mental health professionals to empower their clients impacted by reproductive loss from a trauma-informed and cultural humility perspective
• Demonstrate at least three needed components to improve the comprehensive assessment of their clients impacted by reproductive loss
• Critique at least two approaches to working with this population, such as Acceptance Commitment Therapy
