The American Association of Christian Counselors offers multiple continuing?education programs to help Christian Mental Health professionals deepen their skills, earn licensure credits, and stay current with best practices. From monthly peer?reviewed webinars and specializations to live conferences and accredited coursework through Light University, AACC provides accessible, high?quality CE opportunities recognized by NBCC, APA, ASWB, NAADAC, APT, and multiple state boards.

Monthly Webinars

AACC’s monthly CounselTalk webinars provide timely, expert-led instruction on today’s most pressing counseling topics. Each two-hour session is designed for mental health professionals, pastoral counselors, and ministry leaders. Webinars are free for AACC members and available on demand, with CE credit options offered through a simple quiz and evaluation process.

  • Participants may earn live or on-demand NBCC CE credits by viewing prerecorded sessions and completing a quiz and evaluation

Annual Conferences

AACC hosts two major in-person conferences on alternating years: the biennial World Conference and the AACC National Conference. These events bring together thousands of counselors, pastors, and mental health professionals for a time of dynamic learning, spiritual renewal, and professional networking. Both conferences offer plenary sessions, intensive tracks, and workshops that provide CE credits from nationally recognized boards.

Professional Training

These certificate based trainings allow professionals to deepen their expertise in key areas such as trauma, addiction, anxiety, grief, and adolescent therapy. Led by seasoned clinicians and educators, each intensive combines case-based learning with practical tools and includes CE hours plus a specialization certificate upon completion.

Online Certification and Continuing Education for Licensed Mental Health Professionals.

Light University, the educational division of AACC, offers self-paced and cohort-based online courses for continuing education and professional development. With course approvals from NBCC, ASWB, APA, NAADAC, APT, and other boards, Light University provides accessible, high-quality training for counselors, pastors, and lay caregivers alike.
