Summary
As Christians, we are often commanded to forgive but then not taught how to also take the time and space needed for healing. Forgiveness is both a decision and a process. In this session we will learn what to do with both the facts of what happened while also acknowledging and working on the impact this event had on us. Lysa has had to do her own significant work in this area and will combine her experience with her deep biblical wisdom. This session will personally help you in your own wounded places while equipping you to spiritually and emotionally care for others.
Learning Objectives
Participants will:
• Discuss how to move on when the other person refuses to change and never says they are sorry
• Discover what the Bible really says about forgiveness and the peace that comes from living it out right now
• Identify what is stealing trust and vulnerability from your relationships so you can believe there is still good ahead
