Summary:
In today’s world, truth is something that is seen as relative and depending on perspective, but for faith-based client or patients, truth can be found in scripture, and utilizing one’s faith to bring about change has shown to be extremely effective. Often times, clinicians and medical professionals are wading through the multitude of nuances of a situation to determine what is true and what is perception. In this workshop, clinicians and medical professionals will learn how to determine what is really going on in a faith-based client or patient’s life using the TRUTH Principle model and design a roadmap or a treatment plan to create a more healthy and mature way of working through issues that the patient or client can adapt to new situations.
Learning Objectives
Participants will:
1. Describe the TRUTH Principle’s tenants as a diagnostic tool.
2. Outline issues that the faith-based client or patient is experiencing based on the TRUTH Principle’s model
3. Design a treatment plan that aligns with the client or patient’s faith in order to bring about lasting change.
