Please note that entering N/A may impact the review process.
Please list the name of the organization, ministry, church, school, business, practice, or institution with which you are currently affiliated. If you are not currently affiliated with an organization, please enter N/A. Please note that entering N/A may impact the review process if organizational affiliation is relevant to your proposal.
Address(Required)

2. Session

Please complete the session information below for your proposed presentation. All responses should be clear, professional, original, and directly related to your area of expertise. The use of AI to generate proposals is prohibited. Proposals that appear to contain heavily used AI-generated content may be rejected. Common signs may include excessive use of em dashes, overly generic phrasing, repeated sentence patterns, vague claims without specific expertise, unnatural transitions, inflated language, lack of personal or professional insight, and summaries that do not reflect subject matter knowledge. Presenters are expected to be subject matter experts in the areas they are proposing to teach. If AI is used only to assist with grammar, spelling, or formatting, please review your submission carefully to ensure the content remains accurate, original, personal to your expertise, and written in your own professional voice. If AI use is noticed or detected, your proposal may be rejected. If any required field does not apply to you, please enter N/A. Please note that entering N/A may impact the review process if the requested information is relevant to evaluating your submission.
Please provide a clear and professional title for your proposed presentation. The title should accurately reflect the main topic, audience, and purpose of your session. Avoid vague, overly broad, or promotional titles.
Please provide a detailed summary of 150-175 words describing your proposed presentation. Your summary should explain the main focus of the session, the need or issue being addressed, the key topics you will cover, and the practical takeaways participants can expect. The summary should demonstrate your subject matter expertise and should be written in your own professional voice. The use of AI to generate proposals is prohibited. Proposals that appear to rely heavily on AI-generated content may be rejected. Common signs may include excessive use of em dashes, overly polished but generic language, repeated sentence structures, vague claims, lack of specific examples, lack of clinical, academic, ministry, or professional depth, and content that does not clearly reflect the presenter’s own expertise. If AI is used only to assist with grammar, spelling, or formatting, please review the summary carefully before submitting. Your proposal should remain original, accurate, and representative of your own knowledge and experience.
Please provide one clear learning objective that describes what participants should be able to understand, explain, identify, apply, or evaluate by the end of your session. (Example format: “Participants will be able to identify key factors that contribute to…”)
Please provide a second clear learning objective that identifies another specific outcome participants should gain from your presentation. This objective should be distinct from Learning Objective 1 and should connect directly to the content described in your summary. (Example format: “Participants will be able to apply practical strategies for…” )
Please provide a third clear learning objective that reflects an additional skill, concept, or takeaway participants will gain from your session. Strong learning objectives should be measurable, specific, and relevant to the proposed presentation. (Example format: “Participants will be able to evaluate the role of…”)
Please select up to 3 tracks. Select only the tracks that most closely align with your presentation topic. If your presentation fits more than one area, choose the strongest match first.
Please select one primary audience that best fits your presentation from the dropdown menu. Choose the audience that would benefit most from the content, training level, and practical application of your session. Selecting the most accurate audience helps reviewers evaluate the proposal and helps attendees determine whether the session is appropriate for them. If none of the available options are a perfect match, please select the closest applicable audience.
Drop files here or
Max. file size: 2 GB.
Please upload the CV and professional headshot for each presenter included in this proposal. CVs should reflect each presenter’s education, credentials, professional experience, speaking experience, publications, ministry involvement, clinical background, academic work, or other qualifications relevant to the proposed session. Headshots should be clear, professional, and appropriate for use in conference-related materials if the proposal is accepted. Failure to provide required CVs and headshots may impact the review process.

    3. References

Please provide three peer-reviewed journal article references that are directly relevant to your proposed presentation topic. References must be published within the last five years and must be formatted according to APA 7th edition guidelines. Books, book chapters, websites, blogs, podcasts, magazine articles, unpublished papers, and non-peer-reviewed sources are not accepted. References should demonstrate that your presentation is grounded in current, credible, and scholarly research. Failure to provide three relevant peer-reviewed journal article references, use APA 7th edition formatting, or meet the publication date requirement may impact the review process and may result in your proposal not being accepted. If a required reference field does not apply or you are unable to provide a qualifying source, please enter N/A. Please note that entering N/A may impact the review process, as scholarly references are required for proposal evaluation.
Please enter your first peer-reviewed journal article reference. This reference should support the content, claims, or practical application of your proposed presentation and must be published within the last five years. Please format the reference according to APA 7th edition guidelines. Failure to use APA 7th edition formatting or provide a qualifying peer-reviewed journal article may impact the review process.
Please enter your third peer-reviewed journal article reference. This reference should be relevant to your topic and help demonstrate that your presentation is based on current scholarly research. The reference must be a peer-reviewed journal article, published within the last five years, and formatted according to APA 7th edition guidelines. 4. Education

Please complete the education and continuing education credit information below. This information helps AACC evaluate presenter qualifications, determine appropriate continuing education credit categories, and ensure that accepted sessions are aligned with the correct professional audience. All information should be accurate and match the presenter’s current credentials, education, and professional background. If any required field does not apply to you, please enter N/A. Please note that entering N/A may impact the review process if the requested information is relevant to evaluating your submission.

If you are currently pursuing a degree but have not yet completed it, please list your highest completed degree. If you do not have a completed degree that applies, please enter N/A. Please note that entering N/A may impact the review process.
Please enter the field or discipline of your highest completed degree. Examples include Psychology, Clinical Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, Medicine, Nursing, Pastoral Counseling, Theology, Divinity, Education, Leadership, or another relevant field. If your degree field does not directly match the available examples, please enter the field that most accurately represents your area of study. If no relevant information applies, please enter N/A. Please note that entering N/A may impact the review process.
Please select one continuing education credit type from the dropdown menu that best fits your proposed presentation, professional background, and intended audience. Selecting the most accurate CE credit type helps AACC evaluate the proposal and determine whether the session may qualify for the appropriate continuing education category. Use the following descriptions as a guide:

    CME

Continuing Medical Education (CME). This option is generally intended for physicians, medical doctors, psychiatrists, and other medical personnel whose professional education relates to patient care, clinical knowledge, medical practice, or healthcare services.

CME refers to educational activities that help maintain, develop, or increase the knowledge and performance physicians use to provide services to patients, the public, or the profession.

    APA

American Psychological Association (APA) continuing education. This option is generally intended for psychologists and other mental health professionals seeking psychology-related continuing education credit.

APA provides continuing education programs for psychologists and other mental health professionals and oversees approval for organizations offering psychology CE.

    ASWB

Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) continuing education. This option is generally intended for social workers, including licensed social workers and clinical social workers.

ASWB’s Approved Continuing Education program reviews and approves social work continuing education providers and courses, and ASWB notes that social work regulatory boards generally determine acceptance of CE credit.

    NBCC

National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC) continuing education. This option is generally intended for licensed professional counselors, national certified counselors, and other counseling professionals seeking counselor-related continuing education credit.

NBCC addresses counselor certification, continuing education, credentialing, and recertification.

    ACSI

Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) continuing education. This option is generally intended for Christian school educators, teachers, administrators, and school leaders seeking continuing education units for certification renewal or professional development.

ACSI describes CEUs as part of certification and renewal requirements for Christian educators.

    IBCC

International Board of Christian Care (IBCC) continuing education. This option is generally intended for Christian counselors, pastoral counselors, life coaches, crisis responders, pastoral caregivers, and other Christian care professionals seeking continuing education related to biblical principles, counseling skills, theory, knowledge, and practice.

IBCC continuing education guidelines describe required contact hours for credential holders and note that the hours should incorporate biblical principles and counseling skills.

If you are unsure which CE credit type best fits your presentation, select the option that most closely aligns with the primary professional audience, your credentials, and the subject matter of your session. Choosing an inaccurate CE credit type may impact the review process or the ability to award appropriate continuing education credit.
