Description
This practical workshop will focus on the impact of loss, crisis, and trauma on each family member???parent, spouse, and children. Trauma events, including sudden incidents, long-term terminal situations, etc., will be discussed, as well as the impact of trauma on the brain. A major emphasis is upon practical, identifiable steps of healing for various family members, including those directly traumatized, as well as secondary. The newest research and counseling approaches will be shared.
