The counseling process is built upon the internalization of relationships to create a sound structuralization of the client?۪s character. Our physical bodies need to ingest and metabolize nutrients to stay healthy, grow, and repair. When this does not occur, we develop pathology. For example, iron deficits can lead to anemia, calcium deficits, and bone problems. God created a parallel system within us that uses ???relational nutrients? to feed and bring health to our brains. In his new book, People Fuel, Dr. Townsend describes 22 necessary nutrients that, when experienced in counseling, help transform and accelerate the healing process.
