There are many challenges to starting and building a successful private practice, and most
psychologists and mental health professionals do not learn the skills needed in graduate school.
With the advent of the digital age, there are even more opportunities and challenges in
providing effective care within the private practice setting. This workshop will equip clinicians
to think like a Christian business owner and provide best practices to leverage digital tools to
treat more clients more effectively. This workshop will also cover proven keys to success in
private practice based on successful private practices, the corporate sector, and business
consultants. Areas to be covered include the selection and utilization of outcome measures,
Electronic Health Records (EHR/EMRs), Web sites, live chat, telehealth, social media, etc. This
includes leveraging data visualization tools to help gain insights on practice management and
effective treatment planning. The workshop will also cover private practice essentials, such as
marketing, billing, and business planning. Building your practice as a Christian counselor in the
digital age is an investment in God?۪s kingdom to help bind the brokenhearted and set the
captives free.
