A landmark study published within the last 12 months examined the extent to which having a child with a disability impacts the likelihood of a family setting foot in a church or other place of worship. Mental illness represents the most common chronic health condition to impact church attendance. Specifically, church attendance is significantly lower among families of children with depression, anxiety, ADHD, Oppositional Defiant Disorder or Conduct Disorder
