Description

Often therapists and counselors are taught how to be relational within the context of a
counseling office. However, healthy relationships are essential from one organization to
another. As positive relationships grow within different helping organizations, the collaboration
helps both clients and the community. This workshop will focus on the value of networking with
local therapists, churches, and non-profits. When you convey to other organizations that they
are ???valued,?۝ the collaboration within your community will grow and expand. As we know,
relationships cannot be formed through promotions, emails, and Web sites. Relationships take
time, trust and understanding. As you get to know the heartbeat of other counselors, agencies,
and church leaders in your community, your influence will grow and there will be benefits to
your community.
