Description
We sometimes take a narrow approach when helping those affected by trauma. We tend to
focus just on the individual we are working with and we forget that individuals exist in the
context of families, as defined by them. In this session, we will study the impact of trauma in
families, identify family dynamics that impede trauma recovery and explore effective strategies
for treating trauma in families.
