Abstract

In the mental health profession, it is not always encouraged to create a “brand.” At times, even marketing seems to be some type of ethical dilemma… but what if mental health professionals expanded their practices to include coaching? Coaching has become a massive field, with many being highly successful in helping people in a more short-term, future-focused work around a specific area needing growth. In this Webinar, participants will learn about the growing coaching profession and how it can be added to mental health practices. The presenter will also explain why a coach cannot shy away from personal branding. The participant, as a person and brand, forms the backbone of a coaching business. Studies have shown that when coaches have a strong, authentic personal brand working day and night, their income and impact grow exponentially as they build a solid reputation with their clients.

Learning Objectives

Participants will:

  1. Describe the differences between a coaching practice and a mental health practice and how a mental health professional can add coaching to their current practice
  2. Outline how to build unbreakable trust with coaching clients and potential coaching clients
  3. Describe how to quickly expand to a coaching audience and create a coaching client base
