Presenter: Dr. Corey Gilbert is a husband of one, father to three, and has been speaking, teaching and counseling for over 25 years across thus United States. He has authored 2 books on a Biblical worldview on gender and sexuality, one for parents and another for preteens and teens. He is a University professor working primarily with undergraduates, but also graduate and doctoral students. His primary focus in teaching and training is a biblical worldview of gender, infidelity recovery for couples, porn addiction and marital redemption, and healing from trauma. He is a sex therapist trained by the Institute of Sexual Wholeness. Corey also grew up as a missionary kid in Chile, South America and is fluent in Spanish. Summary: In this training Dr. Corey Gilbert will unpack Michael Todd Wilson and the late Dr. Doug Rosenau’s brilliant tweak to Dating and Courting. Learn a very practical vocabulary, steps, and stages that help those we serve make more wise and tactful decisions going from single to healthily and happily married. A foundation is a critical theology of marriage. This gives us an aim.
Learning Objectives:
- Learners will better understand a new paradigm of going from single to married, practical steps, and biblically based boundaries.
- Learners will create a theology of marriage as a foundation for what they believe and what they then teach and lead others towards.
- Learners will be inspired to date and marry well.
