Summary
Our participation in AACC shows that we want Scripture to inform us. However, our vocational settings and licensure seem to make this a personal matter that cannot be brought into our therapeutic work. Therefore, this workshop will be an opportunity to reflect on how God’s wisdom can naturally be part of our work, even when that work is in a secular setting.
Learning Objectives
Participants will:
• Identify key themes in Scripture that speak to our humanity
• Apply these themes, in specific ways, to our vocational settings
• Remember the deeper spiritual realities of what we are not saying
