Therapist (full-time)
Auxilium Psychological Services is owned and operated by two psychologists with an integrated Christian faith-based perspective focused on providing excellent care and serving the mental health needs of Southern Indiana. We are currently seeking a full-time master’s-level or doctoral-level therapist to join our supportive and collaborative outpatient therapy practice in New Albany, Indiana. We aim to expand what limited resources are available in the area by adding an additional therapist. We accept several commercial insurances as well as Medicaid.
Auxilium therapists work with a variety of clients, depending on their interests and training, including child, adolescent and adult individuals and their families. There are specialized clinical spaces set up to conduct Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT). Training towards PCIT certification by an in-office Level 1 PCIT Trainer may also be negotiated. There is also a playroom with access to toys and an art room with art materials on site.
Therapists will carry and manage a caseload, may participate in weekly staff meetings for administrative and professional development purposes, may receive support via individual meeting, and may also have opportunities for outreach to the local community.
Indiana licensed mental health counselors, licensed marriage and family therapists, licensed clinical social workers, or licensed psychologists are preferred, but supervision by an experienced Licensed Clinical Psychologist with the Health Service Provider in Psychology provision (IN and KY) or a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (IN and KY) may be provided to clinicians who have a provisional license and are working towards full licensure. Temporary licensed or non-independently licensed clinicians will primarily see Medicaid clientele due to licensure and credentialing.
Therapists will be compensated at a competitive rate, will have the benefit of our integrated electronic billing and note system, will receive administrative and billing support, and most importantly will benefit from the support of being part of a thriving group practice.
Where possible we seek to serve using evidenced-based care, and we have providers that are comfortable with the integration of the Christian faith and psychology.
