Licensed Mental Health Counselor/Therapist (full-time or part time)
Auxilium Psychological Services is a faith-based team of clinicians focused on providing excellent care and serving the mental health needs of Southern Indiana. We are currently seeking full-time master’s- or doctoral-level therapists to join our supportive and collaborative outpatient therapy practice in New Albany, Indiana.
Auxilium therapists work with a variety of clients, depending on their interests including; children, adolescents and adult individuals, and families. There is clinical space set up to conduct Parent-Child Interaction Therapy and training in the evidenced based practice of PCIT by a in-office Level 1 PCIT Trainer may be negotiated. There is also a playroom and access to toys and art materials on site.
Therapists will carry and manage a caseload, will participate in a weekly staff meeting for professional development, and will have opportunities for outreach to the Kentuckiana community.
Indiana licensed mental health counselors, licensed marriage and family therapists, licensed clinical social workers, or licensed psychologists are preferred, but supervision by an experienced Licensed Clinical Psychologist with the Health Service Provider in Psychology provision can be provided to clinicians who have a provisional license and are working towards full licensure. We aim to expand what limited resources are available in the area by accepting several commercial insurances as well as Medicaid.
Therapists will be compensated as an independent contractor of Auxilium Psychological Services at a competitive rate, will have the benefit of our integrated electronic billing and note system, will receive administrative and billing support, and most importantly will benefit from the support of being part of a thriving group practice.
Where possible we seek to serve using evidenced-based care, and we have providers that are comfortable with the integration of Christian faith and psychology.
