Summary
There are many challenges to starting and building a successful private practice which the recent pandemic has only amplified. Unfortunately, most counselors do not learn the skills needed in graduate school. This workshop will equip clinicians to think like a Christian business owner and provide best practices to thrive in an ever-changing and more virtual world. This workshop covers proven keys to building a successful practice based on leading a private practice, the corporate sector, and private practice consulting. Areas to be covered include digital aspects such as telehealth, online forms, Electronic Health Records (EHR), Web sites, live chat, social media, etc., along with current trends such as pay-for-performance and learning points from growing a practice during a pandemic. Starting and building your private practice as a Christian counselor in a rapidly changing world is an investment in God’s kingdom to help bind up the brokenhearted and set the captives free.
