Many Christian couples believe in the power of prayer, but far fewer actually pray together. Brad and Heidi Mitchell, founders of Build Your Marriage ministry, share with Dr. Tim Clinton that only 5% of couples do. As they unpack their new book, Build Your Marriage with Prayer—a practical resource that guides couples through daily prayer topics—they share how personal and shared prayer restored their own marriage in the aftermath of betrayal. Not only does praying together significantly reduce the risk of divorce, but it also aligns individual hearts with God’s will and brings lasting unity to a relationship.
Life, Love, Faith, and Family, with cohosts Dr. Tim Clinton, and his son, Dr. Zach Clinton, offers timely and topical conversations with national leaders in faith, mental health, and family advocacy. Anchored in a biblical perspective to help you navigate today’s culture, each episode provides a word of hope and encouragement to help strengthen your life, your love, and your relationships with those you love most. Each day, we want to remind you that God loves you and is there for you! Our goal is to equip you to face everyday challenges, move from “survive” to “thrive,” and embrace the life that God has designed for you. Filled with wisdom, testimonials, timeless truths, and both clinical and practical tips to address the emotional and spiritual needs that most often affect people, the program covers everything from stress and anxiety to trust, intimacy, grace, and even forgiveness. Life, Love, Faith, and Family explores the dynamics of marriage, raising children, and building a better life for yourself and your family.

When Mercy Found Me
Christian singer-songwriter Rhett Walker joins Drs. Tim and Zach Clinton at an Ignite Men’s Impact Weekend to encourage believers to share the hope within them with a world searching for truth. Rhett reflects on how God met him during his own season of uncertainty, when an unexpected teen pregnancy left him and his now-wife, April, with nowhere to turn but the Church. Their conversation is a powerful picture of how the family of God can come alongside others to provide support and point them to Christ in difficult moments.
How to Find the Love Language That Matters Most to Your Special Someone
Dr. Tim Clinton sits down with relationship experts Drs. Les and Leslie Parrott to talk about their new book, The Love Language That Matters Most, co-written with Dr. Gary Chapman. Throughout the conversation, they share personal stories from their own marriages and reflect on something many couples experience: we all want to feel loved, but sometimes our partner’s genuine efforts miss the mark. Les and Leslie explain that simply knowing your spouse’s love language isn’t always enough—the real key is learning the right “dialect” so your love truly connects. When couples learn to express love in ways that really land, they can keep each other’s love tank full and build a healthier, stronger relationship.
When an Empty Nest Leads to an Empty Heart: How to Prevent Gray Divorces
The kids are gone—now what? Marriage therapist Dr. Sharon May joins Dr. Tim Clinton to discuss the rising divorce rate among older American couples over the past three decades. While various factors contribute to this trend, Dr. May highlights a deeper issue at the core: the importance of truly seeing your spouse for who they are and ensuring their needs are valued as much as your own. Only through this mutual understanding and care can couples build a lasting, resilient partnership.
Strong Marriages and Confident Parenting in Every Season of Life
Your family’s future doesn’t have to be shaped by its past. Dr. Zach Clinton sits down with Jim Burns, founder of HomeWord, as he reveals that the key to raising up the next generation in the ways of the Lord is to properly equip parents to lead faith-filled homes. Jim explains why honest conversations about media, sexual integrity, and faith, paired with modeling a healthy marriage and relationship with God, help ensure faith is not just taught, but caught—because experience is often a better teacher than advice.
