Participants in this three-hour, pre-conference workshop will learn about the nature of relational trauma and how these traumas contribute to a variety of mental health disorders. Participants will learn about the unique insights and contributions to healing relational trauma offered by polyvagal theory, attachment theory, and various empirically-supported psychotherapies. Participants will learn via case studies, presentation of the key relational healing tools offered by various therapies, and experiential learning opportunities, including role-plays.
