Description
God designed the counseling process to be relational in nature, with Himself and others. The
counselor?۪s work is often hampered when the client is exposed to too many toxic relationships.
Conversely, it is accelerated when the client internalizes healthy and loving relationships. Based
on Dr. Townsend?۪s newest book, People Fuel, this workshop provides seven, key categories of
types of people to help counselors guide their clients to life-giving individuals, as well as
learning to set appropriate boundaries on their exposure to life-draining ones.

Participants will:
- Understand the necessity of the client’s forming the right sorts of relationships, in addition to the counseling context, to accelerate the healing process
- Learn to identify and recognize the seven categories of healthy and toxic relationships for their clients
- Experience the skills of helping the client work through the neurology of attachments to the wrong sort and taking initiative in health-providing relationships
