Description
Summary
As we head into 2025, research shows that the majority of people will enter the new year with big dreams, goals, and resolutions they want to accomplish. Many of these resolutions involve things like wanting to lose weight, save money, pay off debt, resolve family conflict, enhance mental health, run a marathon, read a certain number of books, grow in one’s faith, and the list goes on and on. However, the statistics have sadly revealed that 90% of people who make new year’s resolutions will fail, noting that 50% of those resolution makers will fail by the end of January. So, what can licensed mental health professionals do to help their clients reach their goals for the year? Within this webinar presentation, Zach Clinton, MA will utilize clinical experience, research, and scholarship as it pertains to the reasons why clients get stuck or give up and how we can help them create a meaningful path forward. Through a mix of Cognitive-Behavioral, Solution-Focused, and Acceptance & Commitment therapeutic techniques, the presenter strives license mental health professionals identify the maladaptive patterns of their clients, restructure their perspective of failure, and develop the habits, perseverance, and resilience necessary to produce change and unlock one’s fullest potential.
