Summary
The Bible is full of powerful prayers that exhibit unbridled faith, and one of the mightiest prayers you can pray is one of desperation. We can be sure that when desperate times come, we are not alone. God is with us through His Holy Spirit. He is with us, He is for us, and He will fight our battles. We get to take ownership of the abundant life God provides, and because of His love that surrounds us, we can bring about healing and unity in the world.
Learning Objectives
Participants will:
• Learn how God is attracted to desperate circumstances, even when surrounded by enemies
• Recognize that battles belong to God; they are not ours to claim
• Discover and embrace the powerful and saving love of Jesus as we are driven, compelled, required, and commanded to love one another
