Summary:
In this busy and chaotic world, individuals are in need of personal renewal. Faith-based clinicians and clients can renew their minds and achieve both spiritual and brain growth through the new field of interpersonal neurotheology. This workshop will explore the basis and principles of interpersonal neurotheology and how engaging in spiritual activities can change the structure and function of the brain. A review of the scientific research on various spiritual behaviors and the transforming effect on the mind will be presented, including brain scan studies. In addition, specific practical applications for clinicians and clients to utilize to create personal renewal will be introduced.
