Tim Clinton

Dr. Tim Clinton, Ed.D., LPC, LMFT, is a beacon in Christian counseling. As the president of AACC, he leads the world’s largest Christian counseling association. He’s also the Executive Director of Liberty University’s Global Center for Mental Health. Co-hosting Dr. James Dobson’s Family Talk and hosting The Road Forward, his voice resonates with many. A licensed counselor and therapist, he’s a trusted figure among Christian leaders and athletes. With nearly 30 books to his name, his insights are invaluable. A family man at heart, he’s blessed with two children and a granddaughter.

Ted Cunningham

Ted Cunningham, the founding pastor of Woodland Hills Family Church, is a beacon of faith and family. With over 30 years in ministry, he’s an author of notable books like The Power of Home and a collaborator with Dr. Gary Smalley. A Liberty University and Dallas Theological Seminary alumnus, Ted’s teachings, infused with humor, resonate widely. Regularly featured on platforms like Focus on the Family, his philosophy emphasizes love and understanding. Recently, he’s been touring, sharing his wisdom with eager audiences.

Ron Hawkins

Dr. Ron Hawkins, Ed.D., D.Min., is a renowned Licensed Professional Counselor with over 20 years in mental health. Serving on AACC’s Executive Board, he’s also the Vice President for Academic Affairs at Liberty University. A professor, pastor and author, his works include Strengthening Marital Intimacy and co-authoring The Quick Reference Guide to Biblical Counseling. His philosophy emphasizes holistic well-being, making him a trusted figure in counseling.

Mark Crear

Rev. Mark Crear, Ph.D., transformed adversity into global acclaim, becoming a two-time Olympic medalist. Beyond athletics, he’s a therapist, coach and motivational speaker with a focus on diversity and inclusion. Educated at USC and Alliant International University, his roles include executive director of the American Association of Christian Counselors’ Multicultural division and adjunct professor at Houston Baptist University. His brand embodies perseverance, faith and transformation, inspiring many to overcome life’s hurdles.

Mercy Connors

Dr. Mercy Connors, Director of Program Development for the American Association of Christian Counselors, is a beacon of faith and compassion. Born into a devout family, her journey with the Lord began at seven. With degrees from Toccoa Falls College and Liberty University, she’s dedicated to supporting those in ministry. Her writings, like Grace for Mothers, showcase her deep understanding of life’s challenges. A true guiding light, Dr. Connors resonates with many, offering hope and guidance.

Shannae Anderson

Dr. Shannae Anderson, a licensed clinical psychologist with 25+ years of experience, has made significant contributions in trauma, substance abuse and eating disorder treatments. A USC graduate, she developed a transformative program at Anacapa by the Sea, integrating DBT and the 12-steps. She’s the Clinical Director at Monarch Recovery and has worked with mass shooting survivors. As an educator, she’s an Adjunct Professor at Liberty University and has taught at Fuller Theological Seminary. Trained under Dr. Dan Siegel, she’s a founder of GAINS and proficient in EMDR.

Zach Clinton

Zach Clinton, with an M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, is a doctoral student at Liberty University. As the host of Built Different Podcast, he converses with athletes and mental health advocates. Hosting the Ignite Men’s Impact Weekend, he draws 10,000 men annually. A former Division 1 baseball player, Zach is a voice on performance and mental health. His mantra, “You are never out of the fight!”, embodies resilience and spirit.

Leslie Vernick

Leslie Vernick, a licensed clinical social worker with over 30 years of experience, specializes in transforming relationships. Her personal journey and professional expertise fuel her mission to empower individuals and couples, especially within the Christian community, to break free from emotional abuse. Author of bestseller The Emotionally Destruction Marriage, How to Act Right When Your Spouse Acts Wrong, and many others, Leslie offers hope, Biblical wisdom and a path to healing.
